Located in Huntersville, NC and a virtual office, I am here to help. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over 14 years of experience, I aim to guide and assist you and your family through those trials in relationships and life.

Together, we will develop a plan to better your life mentally, socially, relationally, and emotionally. I generally approach therapy as a way to establish open honest communication in a safe, neutral, non-judgmental environment. I also provide faith-based therapy for those who believe that their spiritual journey is an important part of their mental health.

Cassi has worked in a variety of settings throughout her life, equipping her with the skills to work with most populations. She has worked in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, church, group homes, employee assistance programs, intensive in-home programs, and outpatient care all with the call of helping people.

Cassi has a passion and is an expert in working with entire families through issues such as trust, conflict, communication, disagreements, and finding connection. She loves the dynamic of working with each part of a family and being able to solve challenges within the family.

She also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2005, then after being in the work field for a few years, decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and graduated in 2011.

FAQs

  • This is determined on a case by case basis. Sometimes I meet with the individual first to gather information and other times I may meet with the entire family or couple to gather information and observe dynamics. We can develop a plan together for our first meeting.

  • My self-pay rate is $130 per 55 minute session. I do accept HSA and FSA for payment. I accept most plans with BCBS and Aetna. If you have any questions regarding insurance, please feel free to email me at goforthfamilytherapy@gmail.com

  • Sessions are 50 minutes long. As far as length of therapy, we will develop a plan during our initial meeting to discuss your treatment plan.
